Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in Wisconsin.
• BSN or MSN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years progressive long-term care nursing experience.
• Minimum 3 years in nursing management or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, HMO, and private insurance related to therapy in a Life Plan Community.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing staff including RN, LPN, CNA, and related roles.
• Provides leadership to improve clinical methods and empower staff.
• Coordinate resource use to meet residents’ care plans and QoL needs across wellness levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and QA activities.
• Develop and manage the nursing department budget with the campus administrator.
• Establish nursing policies and procedures and participate in organizational policy.
