Job summary

Asheboro Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Asheboro, NC, under new management, seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• DON experience a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or related field (preferred).
• 3 years RN experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the nursing staff.
• Ensures the nursing department complies with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develops, implements and updates department policies and procedures as directed.
• Provides staffing for Resident care and regulatory needs within budgetary guidelines.
• Participates in agency surveys and reviews deficiencies noted by government agencies.
