Otterbein SeniorLife seeks a Director of Health Care Services (DON) to lead the nursing team and ensure top-quality care across independent, assisted living, and skilled nursing settings in Ohio and Indiana. The DON reports to the Executive Director and drives policy, staffing, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires RN licensure in Ohio, a nursing leadership background, and a passion for serving older adults. Strong collaboration skills with physicians and care teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved nursing program.
• Valid Ohio RN license.
• At least five years in a nursing leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees nursing department operations across three levels of care.
• Develops and updates policies for licensed areas.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacists, and other health care professionals to ensure exceptional care.
• Engages with residents and families, addressing concerns and needs.
• Leads QA and improvement initiatives to meet goals.
