Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) in the Houston area for a full-time role. The DON will supervise staff, lead IDT meetings, and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds Texas RN licensure with a BSN or equivalent management experience, and prefers hospice or home health experience. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Texas is required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience with management responsibilities.
• BSN degree or five years of equivalent management experience required.
• Experience with Hospice or home health preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean background and drug screen.
