Job summary

Harbor Healthcare System in Independence, MO is seeking a full-time Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical staff and oversee patient care services.

The DON will supervise staff, facilitate IDT meetings, implement policies, and drive recruitment, retention, and training of nurses and ancillary clinical staff. A MO RN license is required; BSN or five years of equivalent management experience is preferred; hospice or home health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Missouri (required).
• 1+ years experience as RN with management experience.
• BSN or five years of equivalent management experience.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Clean background and drug screen.
