The candidate will oversee care plans, coordinate with physicians and families, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a skilled nursing team with a focus on geriatric mental health and safety.

Formación

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years of nursing experience.
• Leadership experience in long-term care.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• Experience with geriatric psychiatric population.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes, directs and evaluates nursing care.
• Provides professional guidance and supervision to non-professional staff.
• Ensures patient care assignments align with staff competencies.
• Schedules and assigns nursing staff; follows up on results.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant resident records and reports.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educates residents and families on health conditions and discharge.
