Qualifications

BSN from an accredited nursing education program or a graduate degree in nursing education.
Experience in education including teaching adults, curriculum development, and evaluation, or two years of nursing education teaching.
Curriculum development and administration experience.
Five years of RN experience including two years in nursing education.
Current knowledge of nursing practice at the practical nurse or ADN program level.
Doctoral degree in nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

Maintain program accreditation and compliance with nursing boards and regulations.
Oversee planning, organization, and coordination of the nursing program.
Plan, evaluate, and report on program goals, data, and self-study processes.
Ensure curriculum design aligns with accreditation and college standards.
Oversee instruction delivery and monitor student outcomes.
Coordinate student recruitment, enrollment, and job placement activities.
Develop relations with healthcare facilities to support program relevance.
Manage department budgets and financial operations.
Provide leadership and supervision to staff.
