Hurst Plaza Nursing & Rehabilitation - Director of Nursing (RN)

Hurst Plaza Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN).

The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest quality patient care, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

DON Requirements:

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
2. Previous experience as a Director of Nursing and experience working with geriatric residents preferred.
3. Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
4. Completion of required orientation per company policy.
5. Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment (if required).
6. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
7. Criminal background check confirming no criminal activity.
8. Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
