Your Responsibilities As Director Of Nursing
- Lead, manage, and mentor the nursing department to ensure high standards of resident care.
- Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support residents’ health and well-being.
- Foster a supportive, team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement and excellence in care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa, or ability to obtain.
- Valid CPR Certification.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
- Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a skilled nursing facility is required.
