Position Summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) / Health and Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing staff and residents, ensuring quality care in compliance with federal and state regulations. The role requires a commitment to our mission and core values, demonstrating professionalism and ethical work practices. The Director collaborates with the Executive Director, Resident Care Coordinator, and other department managers to serve the healthcare needs of our residents.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; may exert up to 80 pounds of pressure during transfers with assistive devices
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods with breaks as per employee handbook
• Potential exposure to communicable and infectious diseases, including bloodborne pathogens
