Willowbrook Rehab & Care Center seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) with a passion for clinical excellence and leadership to oversee nursing operations and quality initiatives. You will mentor staff, ensure resident-centered care, and manage regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy maintenance, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience in nursing services administration.
• Experience in a healthcare setting serving the same age/type of resident population.
• Strong knowledge of nursing management, planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with accreditation standards and state/federal healthcare regulations.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing nursing team.
• Compassionate, dedicated, and committed to excellence in resident care.

We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, and making a meaningful impact on residents' lives. As the Director of Nursing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of resident care. You will provide education, mentorship, and leadership to the nursing team while overseeing clinical operations, compliance, and quality initiatives. In the absence of the Executive Director, you will be responsible for executing resident care policies and ensuring smooth facility operations.

Major Responsibilities

• Set and monitor departmental goals and objectives aligned with nursing ethics and standards of practice.

• Develop and implement competency/skills checklists for nursing staff, including contracted team members.
• Prepare and manage the nursing department's annual operating budget.

• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and actively work to resolve resident grievances.
