Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and manage all nursing operations within our facility, which includes Long-Term Care (LTC), rehabilitation (rehab), assisted living, hospice, and home care services. The DON will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and uphold the highest standards of clinical and regulatory compliance across all care environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct the daily operations of the nursing department across LTC, rehab, assisted living, hospice, and home care settings
• Supervise, support, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulatory standards, including those specific to LTC and rehab facilities
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement protocols to support accurate billing and cost-effective care delivery
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably as a DON in an LTC or rehab setting
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and advanced nursing practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage nursing operations in diverse care environments
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
