Job summary

AdviniaCare Seashore Pointe in Provincetown, MA is seeking a compassionate Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Department, oversee clinical programs, and ensure high-quality resident care.

The successful candidate will hold a current RN license, have at least 3 years in long-term care, and provide strong team leadership while maintaining compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be a supportive team member and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement nursing programs and activities to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained.
• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures for the Nursing Department.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in facility surveys and assist with quality assurance programs.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure medications are being administered as ordered.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
