Director of Nursing (DON) | Golfcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation

Golfcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and help us keep raising the bar on resident care. If you're a strong clinical leader who knows how to build a great team, keep a facility survey-ready, and genuinely cares about the people you serve, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Plan, organize, and direct the day-to-day operations of the nursing department to ensure every resident receives the highest quality of care

• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff, building a team that's engaged, well-trained, and confident in their roles

• Ensure full compliance with all state and federal regulations, keeping the facility survey-ready year-round

• Partner with administration on staffing, budgeting, and department planning

• Champion a culture of accountability, compassion, and clinical excellence across the floor

What You'll Need

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current, unencumbered RN license in the state

• Prior experience as a Director of Nursing strongly preferred; geriatric care experience a plus

• Willingness to complete our training and competency evaluation program and required orientation

Good to Know

As with any role in our facilities, employment is contingent on a health screening (and TB test, if required) within your first two weeks, a drug screen within 90 days of hire, a clean criminal background check, and proof of identity/work eligibility within 3 days of hire — standard steps we walk every new hire through.
