Elm Crest is looking for a Director of Nursing!

Are you a natural leader, focused on team collaboration? Do you want to lead a top-notch nursing team?

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Elm Crest, you'll manage a team of RN's who oversee our CNA, NA, and CMA teams; as well as assist staff in day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of resident care via assessments, planning, intervention, evaluation, and developing care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and staff. You will also encourage residents to attain and maintain their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.

Starting at $87,360 annually, with increases based on experience

What You Need:

1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; current Iowa or compact state Registered Nurse license
2. Long-Term Care and Rehab experience preferred
3. MDS experience preferred
4. Strong critical thinking skills, independent judgment, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
5. Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude, effectively communicate, and interact with staff, residents, family members, and beyond
