Elm Crest is looking for a Director of Nursing!

Are you a natural leader, focused on team collaboration? Do you want to lead a top-notch nursing team?

As the Director of Nursing (DON) at Elm Crest, you'll manage a team of RNs overseeing CNA, NA, and CMA teams; and assist staff in daily activities. You will coordinate resident care through assessments, planning, intervention, evaluation, and developing care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and staff. You will also encourage residents to attain and maintain their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.

• Starts at $87,360 annually, with increases based on experience
• Full benefits include generous PTO, employer retirement match, Tuition Reimbursement, and more

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school; current Iowa or compact state RN license
• Long-Term Care and Rehab experience preferred
• MDS experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgment, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
• Positive attitude, effective communication with staff, residents, and families
