Job summary

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Somers, NY is seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. This role oversees all nursing operations, mentors staff, and partners with the interdisciplinary team to improve resident outcomes.

Requirements include an active NY RN license and at least 3 years of nursing leadership in SNF/LTC. Competitive salary up to $180,000, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license.
• At least 3 years of nursing leadership in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.
• Experience as Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or senior nursing leader preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire teams and build a resident-centered culture.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.

• Minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting.

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or senior nursing leader preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to inspire teams and build a positive, resident-focused culture.
