Job summary

Avalon Care Center Bellingham in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead all nursing operations, mentor leaders, and drive clinical excellence for residents. You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee staffing and scheduling, and partner with the Administrator to achieve clinical and operational goals while fostering accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Washington RN license (or NLC-eligible).
• Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to develop teams and drive clinical outcomes.
