Job summary

PIN OAKS LIVING CENTER is seeking a Director of Nursing in Mexico, Missouri. The DON will coordinate resident care with a hands-on leadership approach, develop and revise clinical policies, and lead staff recruitment while ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will have an active RN license, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have supervisory experience and strong organizational skills.
• Minimum 2 years in Long-Term Care settings preferred.
• Active RN license and CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care with a hands-on management style.
• Develop, review, and revise nursing and clinical policies.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Lead recruitment and interviewing of qualified staff.
• Oversee cost controls by monitoring supplies and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with Long-Term Care regulations and company goals.

PIN OAKS LIVING CENTER, located in Mexico, Missouri is currently seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team.

Director of Nursing Duties and Responsibilities:

• The coordination of resident care with a “hands on” management style

• Strong organizational skills

• Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies

• Able to work days but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation

• Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Ability to multi-task

• Knowledge of Long-Term Care Regulations

• Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment
