July 2027 - 4.49% increase to base pay (3.0% Across-the-Board + 1.49% Market Increase)
In addition to base salary, candidates may be compensated at an additional 10% for Edgemoor Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility as a Work Location Premium.
The Director of Nursing will lead the nursing administration and management at the Edgemoor Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility.
The Director of Nursing in Behavioral Health Services will oversee clinical nurse management and daily nursing operations of the Edgemoor Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility. As a leader of clinical nursing within the enterprise, the Director of Nursing serves as a member of the Office of Nursing Excellence Executive Team and will work with nurse leaders in other Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and the Public Health Services (PHS) departments.
The Edgemoor Distinct Part Skilled Nursing Facility provides 24-hour long term skilled nursing care for individuals having complex medical needs who require specialized interventions from highly trained staff. The facility has received the highest rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Edgemoor has been named yearly as one of the top three nursing homes in California by Newsweek for the past six years. The facility is a restraint free, smoke free facility and has exceptionally high- quality measures.
The current vacancies are in the Edgemoor Skilled Nursing Facility; however, the list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies in other departments.
An ideal candidate is one who has significant leadership and operations experience in a nursing management role clinical setting; able to lead a nursing management team and have demonstrated experience with nursing care models, development of staffing strategies based on volume and acuity, strategic planning, performance improvement, data gathering/analysis, project management, and CA BRN/CMS/CDPH regulatory requirements; ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent customer service skills.

Notes: A master's or bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in nursing is highly desirable.
