Job summary

Focus Health Network, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our caring team and ensure exceptional resident care within our facility. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, policy development, and staff development while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role demands strong leadership, clinical excellence, and a commitment to creating a safe and compassionate environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 2 years as RN and 2 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the nursing staff
• Ensures the nursing department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures when necessary or as directed
• Responsible for providing consistent and sufficient staffing for resident needs as well as regulatory requirements
• Participates in federal, state, and local agency annual surveys
• Reviews with appropriate department heads any deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections
• Responsible for operating the Nursing Department within budgetary guidelines and limitations
• Completes annual performance reviews of all subordinate staff, provides guidance and education, and takes disciplinary action as needed
• Oversees the continued training and education of all nursing personnel
• Maintains infection control and standard precaution practices and reports hazardous conditions and supply issues

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Current State License as Registered Nurse
• C.P.R. Certified
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
