Focus Health Network, LLC is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing staff and ensure high-quality care for residents. You will drive regulatory compliance, policy implementation, and staff development in a busy facility.

The role requires organizational leadership, budget management, and ongoing performance oversight to maintain exemplary patient care and team performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State License as Registered Nurse (RN).
• CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the nursing staff.
• Ensures the nursing department is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develops, implements, and updates department policy and procedures when necessary.
• Responsible for providing consistent and sufficient staffing for resident needs as well as regulatory requirements.
• Participates in federal, state, and local agency annual surveys.
• Reviews with appropriate department heads any deficiencies noted by government agencies during inspections.
• Responsible for operating the Nursing Department within budgetary guidelines and limitations.
• Completes annual performance reviews of all subordinate staff, provides guidance and education, and takes disciplinary action as needed.
• Oversees the continued training and education of all nursing personnel.
• Maintains infection control and standard precaution practices and reports hazardous conditions and supply issues.
