The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) seeks a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in 24/7 psychiatric and substance-use crisis care. You will guide RNs and LPNs, ensure excellence, and provide floor coverage including shifts and weekends.

Required qualifications include an active Oklahoma RN license (or eNLC-recognized) and a mix of supervisory and managerial experience. This is a full-time exempt leadership role located in OKC.

Qualifications

  • Valid Oklahoma RN license or RN License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
  • Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years in a supervisory role, plus an additional year in a managerial or consultative capacity.
  • BSN with three years of professional nursing experience including two in supervision plus an additional year in a managerial/consultative capacity, or MSN with two years in supervision plus one year in a managerial/consultative capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff.
  • Ensure floor coverage including shift and weekend hours in a 24/7 crisis care setting.
  • Maintain high standards of care in a trauma-sensitive, recovery-oriented program.
