Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is required, with ability to lead shifts and teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision and floor coverage across shifts in a fast-paced crisis care facility.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling and on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with policies and procedures.

Job Description Nurse Manager

About the Position: The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is a fast-paced, acute crisis care facility located in OKC. It provides 24/7 psychiatric and substance abuse care for individuals in crisis. The treatment philosophy is trauma sensitive, co-occurring, person-centered and recovery-oriented in nature. We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager to join our team to provide leadership, supervision, and flexibility in floor coverages (including shift and weekend hours) to our facility staff.

Full-time position

Annual Salary: $78,500 – $85,000 based on qualifications

Additional Compensation:

In addition to our excellent benefits, we also offer extra compensation for working outside of normal business hours! Below is a list of shift differential pay rates that can help boost your hourly wage. Shift differential pay can be stacked—for example, working night shifts on the weekend could earn you an additional $8.00 per hour.

  • Evenings – extra $3.00 hr.
  • Nights – extra $5.00 hr.
  • Weekends – extra $3.00 hr.
  • Holidays – extra $3.00 hr.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Level I Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and three years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; Or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; Or a master’s degree and one year of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Level II Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; Or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; Or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Level III Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program; Or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program; Or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program.
  • Level IV Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity and one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program plus two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity; Or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity and one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program plus two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity; Or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity and one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program plus two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.

Coverage and Work Hours:
