Job Title: Director of Nursing

An elegant long-term care and skilled nursing facility is seeking a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing. This role involves leading and managing the Nursing Department, collaborating with Unit Managers and the Administrator to ensure the facility's success.

Salary: Up to $180K per year (Depending on Experience/Facility)

Requirements:

• Must have a New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Management experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise all nursing staff in the facility
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee hiring and employment of nursing staff
• Ensure adequate staffing and current skills among staff
• Oversee nursing employee conduct
• Be knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
• Assess the health needs of each resident
