Benedictine Living in New Brighton, MN seeks a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department, supervise staff and ensure high-quality care. You will oversee budgeting, regulatory compliance and serve as a liaison with residents, families and external providers.

The DON will supervise the nursing team and may assume charge responsibilities in the Administrator/Housing Director's absence, reflecting the role's senior leadership scope.

Qualifikationen

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Two years RN experience with at least one year in long-term care/home care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize duties.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.

The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading, directing, analyzing, staffing and evaluating the nursing services of the department, as well as supervising members of the nursing team and others. You may assume the charge responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator/Housing Director.

Responsibilities

• The DON provides administrative and clinical leadership for nursing staff to promote the delivery of high quality care.
• The DON develops, revises, monitors and implements the department budget to promote appropriate resources.
• The DON develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing department all while meeting regulatory compliance.
• The DON serves as a nursing liaison with internal/external groups, residents/families, general public, and other health care providers.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse, which must be in good standing
• Two (2) years of RN experience with at least one (1) year in long term care, home care, or related area.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Possess the ability to make independent decisions and have the ability to prioritize duties.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
