Job summary

Marietta Heights Post Acute is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department and ensure exceptional resident care in a compliant, patient-centered environment.

The DON will guide nursing operations, develop policies, mentor staff, and collaborate with physicians and families to drive positive clinical outcomes. This role requires an Ohio RN license and a track record of nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing leadership in a skilled/post-acute care setting.
• Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CMS regulations and Ohio nursing home requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all nursing operations within the facility.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, Ohio DOH, and other regulations.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, department leaders, residents, and families.
• Monitor clinical performance indicators and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling for the nursing department.
• Lead infection prevention, risk management, and resident safety programs.
• Prepare for and manage state surveys and regulatory inspections.

Marietta Heights Post Acute is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing services, ensuring exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence within our skilled nursing facility.

Location: Marietta, OH Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Ohio Department of Health and CMS requirements.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff.

• Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CMS regulations, Ohio nursing home requirements, and the survey process.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
