Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our Health & Wellness team and deliver compassionate, high-quality care for residents in a Kenosha, WI community.

The RN leader will mentor staff, oversee assessments and care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with physicians and families to support excellent resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One or more years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in assisted living, senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital nursing, or related healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Passion for serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the nursing and caregiving teams.
• Oversee resident health and wellness programs.
• Complete resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with Wisconsin regulations and community policies.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, therapy providers, and families.
• Review physician orders and oversee medication management.
• Support admissions through clinical assessments.
• Coach, train, and develop clinical staff.
• Promote quality improvement and resident outcomes.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and safety programs.
• Serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, and team members.

What We're Looking For

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• One or more years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in assisted living, senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital nursing, or a related healthcare setting
• Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Passion for serving older adults
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
