Director of Nursing (DON) at St. Elizabeth

St. Elizabeth Home, an Illuminus Community, is hiring a Director of Nursing. We offer long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting. Originally founded in 1967, St. Elizabeth is located just blocks from downtown Janesville in the beautiful Courthouse Hill Historic District between Upper Courthouse Park and Jefferson Park.

Salary: $95,000-$120,000 annual salary, dependent upon experience

As the DON, some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop, organize and maintain a standard of nursing practice that is compliant with the company objectives as well as state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Supervise functions, activities and training of nursing personnel.
• Assure quality of care adhering to best practices around inflectional prevention and control provided by the nursing department.
• Develop and maintain standards of nursing practice and policies and procedures and provides oversight of practice.
• Ensure that duties of nursing personnel are clearly defined and assigned to staff consistent with their level of educational preparation, experience and licensure.
• Maintain and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.
