Job summary

Saunter in New York seeks a visionary programming lead to shape the culture and calendar for its first venue. You’ll own the weekend nights, forge relationships across DJ and creative scenes, and turn taste into recurring formats that define the brand.

You’ll report to the CEO, partner with Marketing, GM, and culinary teams, and build programs that energize Friday and Saturday nights while sustaining daytime activity. This hands-on role offers creative influence and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience opening a new venue or concept is strongly preferred.
• Experience in New York nightlife, music programming, or multi-format venues is a plus.
• Ability to translate taste into recurring formats with strong audience development.

Responsibilities

• Build the opening calendar and recruit formats for launch.
• Make weekends matter by booking talent and crafting recurring events.
• Design weekly formats across food, sound, movement, and culture.
• Create Saunter originals and programs for future locations.
• Develop relationships with DJs, chefs, instructors, and community hosts.
• Own contracts, budgeting, production, and on-site execution.
