Job summary

Taleo seeks a Director of New Service and Electric Distribution Engineering to lead design and governance for new and upgraded electric services. You will align engineering, planning, and compliance with corporate strategy while guiding teams across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, managing budgets, and coordinating with regulatory bodies to ensure safe, reliable service and scalable infrastructure expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
• PE license or relevant industry certification preferred.
• 10+ years of distributed engineering experience in electric systems or related disciplines.
• 5+ years leading managers, professionals, or multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Service and Electric Distribution Engineering with strategic direction and performance expectations.
• Direct engineering design for new/ upgraded services and system expansion for diverse customers.
• Set governance, standards, and processes ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee review/approval for service requests, load requirements, and infrastructure needs.
• Plan workloads, prioritize projects, and allocate resources to deliver solutions.
• Support long-range planning by identifying emerging service demand and investment priorities.
• Manage capital and O&M budgets with monthly forecasting and reporting.
