Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of S&E Project Management Neuroscience to drive seamless cross-functional execution of TA-aligned strategies with S&E leads. You will coordinate diligence activities, lead external and internal teams, and manage risks for high-value opportunities.

Strong leadership, scientific depth in neuroscience, and governance experience are essential. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three onsite days, with access to AbbVie's collaborative ecosystem and development

Qualifications

Bachelors or equivalent degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
8+ years in pharma with drug development or business development experience.
Experience leading partnering/diligence efforts and governance.
Hybrid role with at least three onsite days.

Responsibilities

Actively supports S&E lead for ongoing diligences.
Coordinates activities and deliverables as core team member.
Contributes to cross-functional discussions from program management and strategy perspectives.
Leads cross-functional diligences with external partners and internal experts.
Identifies and manages risks across the deal portfolio.
Drives cross-functional alignment and decision-making structures.
Monitors team performance and shares learnings across the portfolio.
Ensures governance processes are navigated smoothly for deal progression.
Collaborates with S&E operations on external partnering events.
