Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, PharmD) preferred
• 8+ years with Bachelor's, 6+ with Masters and 4+ with PhD
• 5-7+ years in pharma industry in drug development, business development, or related areas
• Experience managing partnering/diligence processes and governance for deal approvals
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills
• Knowledge of program management practices in business development and Search and Evaluation
• This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days onsite in AbbVie's offices

Responsibilities

• Supports the Search and Evaluation lead for all active diligences
• Co-ordinates activities and deliverables as core team member
• Contributes to cross-functional discussions from program management and strategic perspective
• Leads cross-functional diligences with external partners and internal experts
• Identifies, communicates, and manages risks across the deal portfolio
• Drives cross-functional alignment and structures discussions for decisions
• Monitors team performance and shares learnings for portfolio consistency
• Ensures governance processes are navigated smoothly for deal progression
• Works with S&E operations on external partnering events scheduling
