Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Director of Non-Destructive Testing to lead enterprise NDT and align it with design and manufacturing. The role targets automation, process improvement, and production-rate readiness while reducing headcount growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, physics, or related field.
• 10+ years in non-destructive testing or related discipline.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with NADCAP and ASNT standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise NDT strategy prioritizing automation and analytics.
• Lead standards and processes across Blue Origin manufacturing and launch sites.
• Embed NDT early in design reviews and producibility assessments.
• Manage NDT labs, equipment, and personnel across programs.
