Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates is growing. We currently operate in Woodforest with a second location planned for Memorial, opening in March 2027. We are seeking a proven leader to develop teams, create accountability, manage operations and turn goals into measurable results.

You will initially lead the Woodforest studio, help recruit and develop the Memorial team, and eventually oversee operations at both locations, collaborating with ownership and studio management to raise the BAR in Houston.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive leadership in operations, sales, or customer-focused management.
• Proven track record of developing managers or emerging leaders.
• Demonstrated success in improving sales, revenue, retention, or customer satisfaction.
• Experience recruiting, coaching and retaining employees.
• Comfort using KPIs to drive decisions and accountability.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership style.
• Experience in boutique fitness or wellness favored; multi-location opening preferred; Pilates experience welcome but not required.

BODYBAR Pilates is growing. With an established Woodforest studio and a second location coming to Memorial, we are looking for a proven leader to develop strong teams, create an exceptional member experience and drive business results.

We need a leader who can develop people, create accountability, manage operations and turn goals into measurable results.

The Opportunity

You will initially lead our Woodforest studio, learn the BODYBAR business and develop its Assistant Managers. Our new Memorial studio is targeted to open in March 2027.

As we prepare for the opening, you will help recruit, develop and prepare the Memorial team. Once Memorial opens, the position will expand into full operational leadership of both studios.

You will work directly with ownership and lead through the studio management teams—not do everything yourself.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success leading teams and developing managers or emerging leaders.
• Demonstrated success improving sales, revenue, retention, customer satisfaction or other measurable results.
• Experience recruiting, coaching and retaining employees.
• Confidence using KPIs to drive decisions and accountability.
• Strong communication, organization and problem‑solving skills.
• A hands‑on, solutions‑oriented leadership style.

Experience in boutique fitness, wellness or a membership‑based business is strongly preferred. However, we will consider an exceptional leader from another high‑touch, customer‑focused industry who has a proven record of developing teams, driving recurring revenue, improving customer retention and managing operations.

Multi‑location or new‑location‑opening experience is preferred. Pilates experience or certification is welcome but not required.

You’ll Have Support

You will be supported by two actively involved owners, Assistant Managers, HR and recruiting support, shared marketing and retail resources, an external lead‑generation partner and technology for scheduling, communication and member engagement.

Location and Schedule

This is a full‑time, hands‑on role supporting Woodforest and Memorial. The studios are approximately one hour apart. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working at both locations. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
