Job summary

GALLS, LLC, the leading supplier of uniforms and equipment to public safety professionals, seeks a Director of Merchandising to shape product strategy across distribution, retail, and e-commerce.

The role leads merchandising and vendor management for apparel, footwear, equipment, and hard goods, translating corporate objectives into plans that boost sales, margin, and customer experience. Hybrid work from Lexington, KY office at least 8 days a month.

Qualifications

• Deep merchandising expertise with proven leadership in teams and vendor partnerships.
• Experience across apparel, footwear, equipment, and hard goods is preferred.
• Omnichannel retail and e-commerce exposure desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise merchandising strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead category reviews, assortment planning, and SKU optimization.
• Manage vendor onboarding, contracts, and joint business plans.
• Drive profitability, inventory productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Present strategies to sales teams and key partners for execution.
