Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a Director of MEMS Engineering in Ann Arbor to spearhead the development of next‑gen MEMS timing products.

You will lead a world‑class MEMS team, shape the technical roadmap, and collaborate with executive leadership to drive innovation and robust development processes. You will scale the organization, mentor engineers, and contribute hands‑on technical work while aligning with SiTime’s market leadership.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent required.
• 10+ years MEMS or specialty sensor development; 15+ years preferred.
• Successful track record leading complex MEMS programs.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEMS engineering team and deliver MEMS timing solutions.
• Scale team culture of innovation and execution excellence.
• Contribute to technical roadmap with cross‑functional input.
• Advance MEMS tech, improve device performance and manufacturability.
• Interface with vendors and establish strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and PM to deliver scalable execution.
• Lead critical initiatives to meet evolving business needs.
