Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, communications, human services, community development, or related field preferred or a combination of education and experience in education, Tribal enrollment, or grant management.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of management experience in administration, program coordination, and/or community services.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills with accountability and a positive working environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to prepare reports and present technical information.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a management team and government structure.
• Demonstrated ability to work respectfully within a Tribal government and Native American community.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurability.
• Must pass drug screen and applicable background checks in compliance with Tribal policy and applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate assigned Membership Services programs and functions.
• Plan, coordinate, and attend programming and meetings for Membership Services.
• Supervise, direct, and develop assigned Membership Services staff.
• Set departmental goals, policies, procedures, and priorities.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, purchasing, invoices, and fiscal accountability.
• Prepare and maintain reports, records, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Tribal Administration and other departments on activities.
• Assist in planning, organizing, scheduling, and coordinating department activities.
• Ensure compliance with Tribal policies, funding requirements, and laws.
• Represent Membership Services professionally at meetings and events.
• Attend required meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
