Job summary

AffirmedRx is seeking a hands-on, patient-centered leader to join our Marketing team as the Member Communications Director. This role oversees the development and execution of all member communications, evolving from single-channel to multi-channel digital strategies, with a focus on formulary changes and cost-saving updates.

The Director will collaborate with Operations, Formulary Strategy, Client Management, and Data Analytics to ensure messaging is accurate, timely, and secure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marketing or Communications, healthcare preferred.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Proven collaboration skills and ability to influence stakeholders across levels.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt quickly, and contribute to cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Build a marketing communications plan to meet key business objectives.
• Streamline templates for letters, postcards, and digital formats (email, app notifications).
• Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and patient-centered across channels.
• Manage customization to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare for enhanced digital engagement using QR codes and online tools.
• Oversee end-to-end communication workflows with attention to detail and timeliness.
• Review requests, assign tasks, and ensure seamless follow-through.
• Monitor timelines and cross-functional deliverables.
• Maintain compliance, accuracy, and security throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with print and mail vendors for timely output and quality.
• Establish and enforce quality control for print and digital delivery.
• Track vendor performance and relationships.
• Develop transition to multi-channel distribution, including digital-first formats.
• Lead cross-functional campaigns with internal teams and external agencies.
