Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health in Fayetteville, North Carolina is seeking a Medical Staff Services leader to oversee credentialing, privileging, and reappointment across the health system. This senior role partners with executive leadership to ensure efficient operations, policy development, and high standards of governance.

The incumbent will drive continuous improvement, maintain regulatory compliance, and coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support quality patient care and physician

Qualifications

• Experience in medical staff services management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of credentialing, privileging, and reappointment processes.
• Ability to lead, coordinate committees, and collaborate with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Corporate Director and Medical Staff leadership to support Joint Credentials Committee and Executive Committees.
• Direct operations of centralized credentialing by developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving processes.
• Coordinate workflow and oversee Credentialing Specialists to ensure timely credentialing activities.
• Attend Joint Credentials Committee meetings; prepare agendas and minutes and facilitate items.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory and Medical Staff standards across the Health System.
