The candidate must be an RN with MN licensure and current BLS; leadership, MDS experience, and ongoing training responsibilities are central to the position.

Qualifikationen

• RN licensure and MN Board of Nursing registration; required within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS for Health Care Providers (AHA or Red Cross) required or equivalent.
• RN licensure within 90 days of hire date; may start with LPN license temporarily.

Aufgaben

• Oversee MDS assessment/Care Planning as required by state and federal law.
• Manage reimbursement system for long-term care residents.
• Stay updated on long-term care trends and state/federal regulations.
• Use Quality Indicator data and other reports to improve MDS accuracy.
• Provide educational training related to MDS/RAI to staff on an ongoing basis.
