Job summary

Cura of Le Sueur is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Director of Clinical Reimbursement. You will oversee MDS/RAI processes, ensure accurate documentation, and lead the interdisciplinary team to support high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, reimbursement accuracy, audits, and staff education, with a focus on CMS requirements and PDPM guidelines in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Minnesota and have skilled nursing experience.
• Experience with MDS 3.0/RAI and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement is required.
• Strong attention to detail, regulatory understanding, and documentation quality.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and educate staff on MDS processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete MDS assessments and the RAI process within timelines.
• Oversee the assessment, documentation, and care planning to reflect resident needs.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, and dietary teams.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, reimbursement accuracy, and CMS requirements.
• Educate staff on MDS-related requirements and documentation standards.
• Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect resident confidentiality.
• Track MDS deadlines, coding accuracy, and modification needs.
• Support leadership goals for resident outcomes and regulatory quality measures.
