KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is seeking a Director of Math to align K-4 math curricula across nine schools, drive rigorous instruction, and ensure data-driven decision making that improves student outcomes.

You will lead professional development, support teachers and school leaders, and collaborate with Curriculum Directors and Analytics to design and implement a scalable math program that inspires curiosity, resilience, and joy in learning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s in Administration and Supervision or admin certification preferred.
• Regional/central office experience with supporting school leadership teams.
• 5+ years of successful teaching with strong student outcomes.
• Experience serving urban students and families.
• Strong data analysis and instructional planning skills.
• Standards-aligned instruction and curriculum implementation.
• PA State certification preferred and PD/coaching experience.

Aufgaben

• Set and drive a vision for quality K-4 math intervention, instruction, and assessment.
• Ensure math curricula and assessments are standards-aligned and rigorous.
• Support leaders and teachers to foster joyful, structured math classrooms.
• Train teachers and leaders on curricular implementation and best practices.
• Develop a rigorous pathway for elementary math courses.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Directors and Analytics to drive data-driven decisions.
• Assess math instruction region-wide and plan supports for improvement.
• Partner with experts and colleagues through research and collaboration.
• Onboard and train new teachers/leaders through PD design and facilitation.
• Support math programs and clubs that foster love of math.
