Berkshire Health Systems' Fairview Hospital is seeking a registered health care professional to provide administrative direction and leadership on a 24-hour basis for the Mother/Baby Unit. The role coordinates development of services aligned with future healthcare trends, maintains patient, family and physician satisfaction, and ensures compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of clinical and managerial experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN) required.
• Master's Degree in Nursing, other healthcare field, or business required.
• RN License in MA required; BLS and ACLS within a year; NRP before orientation.
• Certification in specialty preferred.

Description du poste

• A registered health care professional who is responsible for providing administrative direction and leadership on a 24 hour basis for the delivery of care in the Mother/Baby Unit. This position is responsible to coordinate development of services congruent with future trends of healthcare and Fairview Hospital, while maintaining patient, family and physician satisfaction; this includes integration of clinical and marketing development in accordance to budgetary and operational goals. Participates in the hiring process and makes recommendations for disciplinary action as necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of and assures compliance with accrediting/regulatory agency standards, hospitals and departmental policies and procedures and customer service standards. This position also functions in the role of on-call Administrator of Fairview Hospital providing coverage for senior management, which requires immediate administrative decisions to be made.
• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
• Experience:
• Five years of clinical and managerial experience required.
• Education and Training:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Masters Degree in Nursing, other healthcare field, or business required.
• License, Certification & Registration:
• RN License - Licensed RN in MA.
• BLS required and ACLS within a year.
• NRP must be obtained prior to completing orientation.
• Certification in specialty preferred.
