Fidelity Investments Inc. is seeking a Director of Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy to lead market and competitive intelligence for Stock Plan Services, Executive Financial Services, and NQDC within the Workplace Investing group.

You will assess regulatory developments, emerging technologies, and growth opportunities, translating research into strategic recommendations for product, strategy, and investments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in corporate strategy, consulting, or market intelligence.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex markets and translate findings into strategic actions.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and presentation skills.
• Experience with benchmarking, market mapping, scenario planning, and win/loss analysis.
• Excellent written and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead market and competitive intelligence for multiple Fidelity business areas.
• Analyze providers, competitors, fintech firms, and market entrants.
• Identify market shifts, client needs, regulatory changes, and tech trends.
• Develop independent perspectives and translate research into recommendations.
• Create executive presentations, market assessments, and competitor profiles.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Strategy teams.
• Manage external research providers and data vendors.
• Build scalable intelligence processes and leverage AI and automation.
• Evaluate impact of intelligence programs and refine the research agenda.
