Job summary

Elve, Inc is a deep-tech startup in Davis, CA developing mm-wave and near-THz RF power amplifiers. The electrical engineer will design, analyze, and test power electronic circuits and systems, including high-voltage sections, and work with cross-functional teams to integrate these systems into the product.

This full-time role is based primarily in our San Francisco office or our Davis factory, with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge vacuum electronics, HV power electronics materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with power electronics circuit design, including converters, magnetics, analog and digital circuits.
• Proficiency in LTspice.
• Experience with hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Proficiency with testing and troubleshooting of power electronic systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize power converters and related magnetic, analog and digital circuitry.
• Perform simulation, analysis, and modeling of power electronic systems.
• Conduct hardware design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of power electronic systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of power electronic systems in the overall product.
