Unknown Company in the Chicago area is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Operations to run manufacturing, scheduling, inventory, and quality across North America. This hands-on role requires leading a lean organization and coordinating with cross-functional teams to scale the operation.

The role involves moving to a new facility, expanding to two shifts, and building on a foundation of strong machinists and leaders. Experience with capital equipment manufacturing is preferred.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership.
• Experience leading production scheduling and labor planning.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP, and manufacturing financials.
• Hands-on leadership in a lean, hands-on environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all manufacturing and operational functions including machining, assembly, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and facilities.
• Set operational strategy and KPIs; drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and delivery.
• Maintain alignment across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Sales, and Service.
