This onsite, hands-on leadership role oversees all manufacturing and operational functions, including machining, assembly, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and facilities. You will drive scheduling discipline, labor planning, and capacity management, lead the move to a new state-of-the-art facility, plan the shift expansion to two, and ensure quality,

Qualifications

• Manufacturing operations leadership in a machine tool, custom machine build, engineered-to-order capital equipment.
• Experience in industrial machinery or automation environment.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership.
• Experience managing production, planning, inventory, supply chain and workforce.
• Demonstrated strength in production scheduling and labor planning.
• Strong command of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and manufacturing financials.
• Experience leading in a small to mid-size shop, roughly 10 to 75 people on the floor.
• Highly organized, strong multitasker, comfortable hands-on.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Operations: all functions including machining, assembly, planning, inventory, logistics, and facilities.
• Scheduling, Labor Planning, and Project Execution: own production scheduling, inventory availability, and material requirements.
• Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Financial Performance: Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, and manage budgets and costs.
• Leadership and Organizational Development: build and develop the operations team, succession, and workforce strategy.
