Job summary

AFL Telecommunications LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Director of Extruded Cables to lead all manufacturing operations, champion safety, and drive continuous improvement. This role reports to the Executive Director of Cable Operations and collaborates across functions including Finance, HR, and Planning.

You will own the production plan, ensure on-time delivery, manage capacity, and lead cost optimization initiatives while upholding ISO9000 quality standards and a culture of excellence

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Manufacturing & Operations management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading technical and manufacturing personnel.
• Experience with ISO9000 quality documentation and auditing.
• Knowledge of general Manufacturing EHS requirements.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and own safety KPIs.
• Drive Operational Excellence initiatives and MES/IBP adoption.
• Ensure products meet quality requirements and CAPA.
• Own production plan execution and On Time Delivery (OTD).
• Manage costs and capital projects to improve margins.
• Staffing plans and talent management across the plants.
