Job summary

Kean University is seeking an Office of Facilities and Operations Director of Major Maintenance and Projects to provide strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of facilities, infrastructure, and projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience in project or program management.
• Direct involvement in leading diverse projects including facilities/ construction, relocations, and technology or software implementations.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, CCM, or CCMP; experience in higher education or large multi-building environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of facilities, infrastructure, and projects.
• Oversee project planning, prioritization, personnel and resource coordination, budgets, schedules, and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinate interdependent activities, and ensure consistent project management practices.
• Support the University's mission through disciplined execution and effective crisis/ emergency response when required.
